Welcome to Novelty Products!

Novelty Products is the successor of Sound Around Ltd.  Since 1985, Sound Around has manufactured various products that play music such as: college fight songs, military songs and other special occasion songs including happy birthday, holiday songs and patriotic songs.  Novelty Products acquired the assets of Sound Around in 2008 and is now shipping most of Sound Around's previous product line.  Please contact us if you are interested in purchasing any of our products. Collegiate License Application Status

As of November, 2009, Novelty Products has been granted collegiate licenses for the following schools:

University of Nebraska
Ohio State University
Oklahoma State University
Oklahoma University
Pennsylvania State University
Purdue University
University of Tennessee
Texas A & M University
Texas Tech University
Virginia Tech (Virgnia Polytechnic Institute and State University)

Unfortunately, we have been informed that for our first attempt at licensing Auburn and University of Texas, our licensing request has been rejected.  These schools feel that we are a new manufacturer without sufficient retailing experience, even though our product line has existed for over 20 years and these products had been previously been licensed by these schools.  The licensing organization has suggested that we re-apply in the future when we have more retailers lined up with orders and ready to take the product.  So, if you would like to see our products for these schools available in a retail store near you, please contact us with the names of your local retailers!

Other schools are available for licensing upon request.

We are also shipping various unlicensed products, such as our Marines product line and some other unlicensed products that we sell.

We will continue to work diligently with each of the various licensing organizations and schools that Sound Around had previously been licensed with, so please be patient.  We know that there is a demand for the product in the market, and we are anxious to fulfill that need.  This website will help to keep everyone updated with the latest schools for which we are licensed to sell our products, so check back often and please feel free to call our email us with any questions.
